‘My generation didn’t cause the recession, but we’re paying the price for it. I had to leave Dublin several years ago and move back to Drogheda as I was just priced out of the market there,’ she told Extra.ie.

‘Rent is still quite high in Drogheda and still rising, but thankfully isn’t at Dublin levels. I live with my boyfriend and we’re trying to save the deposit for our own place, but it seems like an impossible mountain to climb now.’
